Shocking, when I dropped the car off they didn't even know I booked in for a job, got the car back have more issues now with the car, takes a while to get acceleration, the power switch keeps flashing, car jerks here and there whilst driving. They had the car for a day I'm assuming they didn't test drive the car after doing the job. Hopefully, they can come up with a solution.

Good customer service and only car service you can feel car is serviced it feels like you just bought brand new car when you drive it back home. Thanks Guys job well done.

I had a rattling noise coming from the engine and these guys serviced my car and fixed my issue very quickly. Explained what other issues I should get looked at and was not pushy to choose them as the service to do it. Good communication too.

The gents provided a quick turnaround with servicing and wheel replacement, actually fixed my wheel alignment (compared to previous mechanics at different shops), and provided a lower fee than the original quote price. 10/10 these guys are great!

They did not turn up between 9am and 11am. I contacted them at 11:15am and received a text saying sorry busy morning, might have to reschedule and then had no further correspondence. Very disappointed.

Was called to discuss new tyres and provided a recommendation that wasn't the most expensive. Car ready when quoted, price very reasonable and driving like a dream.

Seamless experience. No over-charging or making up things that needed to be changed during a routine service. They probably could have replaced our brake pads, but said we can get another 5,000 km out of them.

I really enjoyed the warm welcoming vibe and I really appreciated the video I was sent about the car. I have never had this before and I was interested to actually see what was wrong and had it explained to me. I also appreciated the chat Luke and I had when I got there about the plan moving forward. Chris is a great mechanic and always accommodating. Have used him several times now and will continue to book him.

Chris seemed a knowledgeable and trustworthy engineer who overcame difficulties in doing the job. The engine does feel better after he replaced the timing belt assembly and he advised us to replace the AC belt which he made happen too.

Brought my VE Ute in, for a harmonic balancer, checked my front suspension, and replaced a headlight globe. asked for the parts number before dropping the Ute the following day. Was charged $559 for the balancer and $86 for the seal. About $210 more than MSRP and $22 more than MSRP for the seal. I didn’t get the parts numbers until after my invoice was paid. As for the front suspension, I was told my right rear muffler hanger was rusted and that was clunking and rattling. But my lower control arm bushes were starting to split. I did mention I had concerns about the top strut mount bearing prior to bringing the Ute in. $123 for diagnostic. Replacing the globe turned into tracing a dead ground wire into the sealed headlight and required a fully new front headlight assembly. $181.60 for diagnostic. I have brought it to another mechanic, who immediately replaced the sway bar link pins because they were cactus. After paying $123 for a diagnostic here. And they are rewiring the headlight which I thought after paying $181 would have happened here. Not impressed and won’t be coming back. Ask for the parts number before you pay as you have the right to know what’s going in the car and what it is you are paying for.

Luke was awesome, listened to the issues that I had had and then concentrated on what he thought the problem was and was good with a roundabout price there were no surprises as such, and then explained what they found upon pickup, the mechanics seemed good and the other receptionist was welcoming which is nice.

Work was not performed by Shady Tintz. Alternative booking times and locations were offered to you which were declined.

Paid for a radiator flush and just found out that they didn’t do it, my car was getting hot after a month so I drained to coolant myself to find a lot of rust and brown coolant.

Coolant flush was definitely completed on 4th Jan. If overheating issues have persisted, and coolant has again become contaminated, we diagnose likely to be a failing radiator. Suggest replacement. All work booked by Shady Tintz was thoroughly completed.

I’ve been going to Ipswich City Mechanical for years and I have stayed loyal due to their staff, performance, and product. The staff continue to make you feel comfortable and welcomed and they always make you feel in control of your car and its needs. I have never once felt like Ipswich City Mechanical was trying to take advantage of me, I feel like I’m taking advantage of them for the things they offer! I trust no one else with my car and I remain to do so!

Didn’t get the free extras carried out & nothing was written down in my logbook. The scanner wasn’t brought & car wasn’t vacuumed.  I will take it to a workshop next time.

Scantool was completed - no codes. Requires Holden genuine to remove service alert as explained. The vehicle was cleaned, the engine bay was also cleaned, and the inspection & service were completed. We do not offer full detailing services.
The vehicle logbook was full - a new one was not provided - The service sticker was completed and is on the windshield.

Lakeside Nissan customer service is amazing. The care, the friendly demeanor,  the speed of service. I don't have anything bad to say about them. Very much the opposite, I recommend to my friends.
