Great service with task being completed quicker than expected.

Okay, but you’re not going to like it. My vehicle, an aging Holden Berliner (2001 model) came due for registration. Express Lube has serviced and rego-checked this vehicle a number of times in the past. No major issues were identified. However, on this occasion a whole raft of mechanical problems, some reported as serious enough to prevent vehicle registration were listed, and a quote for repairs was provided. None of these issues have been previously mentioned or identified in previous vehicle inspections. Now you guys might not see much wrong with this situation, but as a customer, I have the distinct impression that Express Lube Tuggerah went out of its way to find as many problems as possible, to maximise the repair bill and force vehicle repairs by way of a refusal to register the vehicle. 80-year-old pensioners don’t have the luxury of buying new cars. I have to keep this car on the road, So the last thing I want is dishonesty from a motor mechanic. I have booked my vehicle in with you for some of the repairs to be completed, only because other mechanics I approached were too busy to do these repairs in a timely manner. Registration is due 8/08/2023. Looking elsewhere.

My experience was good. Honestly, I don’t use the car that much to feel if something changed or if there is something that wasn’t fixed properly. The attention was fantastic and they finished all the fixes.

I asked for the tyres to be rotated as a part of the first service. I wasn't charged for it but they also didn't do it. I can see that the wheel nuts have not been handled at all, they all still have the dust and dirt on them. Not a big deal, everything else went very smoothly, but now I gotta rotate them myself which I hate doing.

It was a little tricky to find. Yes there's signage, but as someone not from the area and going off of google maps I had no idea which carpark I was supposed to enter. At one point I could see the workshop, but I couldn't get to it as it was fenced off. I had to exit the carpark and re-enter it elsewhere. It was stressful. Then, the only issue I had with the car was not resolved. The Text To Speech in my navigation app doesn't work. It comes up with an error screen when I open the app and tells me to speak to a BYD service centre - I felt like that's exactly what I did. I added this problem to my appointment booking and saw it written there on the form booking sheet when I dropped the car off. But when I picked it up the man behind the desk told me to "do the updates" - which I already have. He added that if there are any issues then to call them, which I definitely will when I have time. Other than that everything was fine. I will probably return in the future, should be easier now that I know where to go.

Had a great experience dealing with mycar Tyre & Auto Garden City for my BYD Atto 3 20000 km service. I work nearby and had to drop the car off before they opened. I was glad to see they had someone in reception to drop off the key. I was looked after by Jack who had the car ready earlier than expected with all my queries answered and 1 year of complimentary roadside assistance added on top. Really happy with everything with them so far.

Fitted my booking in ASAP, afterpay was my only way of paying so very helpful.
