After being presented with a $300 bill, I was informed that my car has a number of urgent issues that are a safety concern and need to be addressed immediately. To my question “why was this not addressed today” I was told that today is a half-day for NRMA Padstow and they therefore prefer letting an unsafe vehicle drive out of their workshop. I was told there were some issues with my car that might  need to be addressed at my next service last time I was at NRMA Padstow 6 months ago, but not receiving a phone call earlier in the day indicated to me that these issues were not urgent and that there was nothing to be addressed immediately. Any safety issues discovered during a service must be communicated to the customer immediately. The clerk was also rude and refused to understand why this standard of service is unacceptable and simply could not wrap his head around why I did not want to re-book my car at NRMA Padstow but rather go somewhere else. This is unacceptable treatment of your customers and I will not be returning again.

There is something funny about NRMA MoterServe and I wont be going back, this is the second time I have been with 2 different cars, they always seem to find leaks that were never there before, this time it was a leak in the Shock Absorber and I would need my water pump replaced and it was also leaking, they also said that my window tinting was too dark and would not pass pink slip, first I told them the tinting was factory installed when new 7 years ago and had passed every inspection since, then he went away and confirmed that the tinting is OK ?? I then went on to tell him that last week I just got a 100 point safety check from NRMA which cost $300 how was these leaks not identified then ? He had no answer, I simply dont believe them and after reading reviews online about NRMA MotorServe I will not go back, even the free car wash was not done correctly with marks everywhere, I wont be going back I just dont trust the NRMA anymore

The front office guy, Leo, was very helpful. I was surprised when I got a call around 10 a.m. to say that my car was ready for collection, when the original time given was 1 p.m. When I gave the car for service, it was a bit dirty. When I got it back, it was very clean. Thanks.
