If you want to spend thousands on a car, go to Ultra Tune Mill Park. Occurring problems, never-ending costs, and are always near the $1000.00 mark.

Not a good experience. This mechanic originally advised me to get my power steering pump replaced. I went through AutoGuru, and surely enough they had a good quote for the pump for about $800, which included a diagnostic test, car wash, and roadside service for free. I accepted the quote and took my car in. The owner, Pat, calls me and says I don't have to do it, but he "recommends" a change of the high-pressure hose as well and it would cost me an additional $500, as it was not part of the original quote and he indicated it was just a recommendation. I declined. I went and got my car back later that day, and the mechanic Hayden made no mention of the hose and said it was all good to go. The car was not washed but I didn't want to kick up a fuss about it so I left. The next day my car broke down on the way to work, RACV attended and said it was the power steering pump leaking on the alternator. I take it back to Ultra Tune, then the next day get a call from Pat with a I "told you so" about the hose. He indicates that he has been a mechanic for over 30 years and has done over 50 Honda Accord power steering pump replacements, and it always has to have the hose replaced. I then asked if that was the case, and why didn't he indicate that in the original quote. I also mentioned how the car hadn't been washed. He then changed his tune, said he would get the hose swapped for free, and get my car washed to keep me happy. I was appreciative of that. The same day I go in to pick up my car. Hayden the mechanic indicates it's all done and ready to go. When I asked about the car wash he indicated they didn't have time. There was no car wash voucher offer or reimbursement, or anything for that matter, just sorry. He said they would wash it the next time I brought it in for a service. Well, there won't be a next time. You need to use your knowledge and expertise to provide accurate quotes, as you say you have 30 plus years of experience and you need to uphold the benefits you advertise in black and white on your quote. Not going to be using this service again....

The original quoted price was $126. But once I gave the car to the service center, they came up with all sorts of changes that needed to be done and in the end, I had to fork out $526. That’s a huge bill, and I am disappointed this value was not told when I first booked in.

They rescheduled the appointment for next week.

Got a cheap basic service. They tried to convince me that the rear brakes needed changing at 50-60% wear. Made me wait all day for them to do an oil and filter change.
