Daewoo facts

Daewoo was founded in South Korea in 1976, and began making cars in 1983. It hit financial trouble in 2001, and was taken over by General Motors (Korea). The brand was pulled from the Australian market in 2004, after which Daewoo-made cars were sold under the Holden brand.
