The workshop lost power on the day of the service. Still completed a basic service in less than an hour, somehow. I also paid $120.00 for an aircon regas. Upon inspection, they found that the line was degraded and they couldn't regas it on the day. I was then told the line would be $1300.00 and was told to call Audi. I then requested a refund for the repair (as it wasnt done) and then was promptly refused.
Hello, unfortunately we cannot control when a vehicle has a leak, we vacuum tested, pumped UV dye and gas into your vehicle and that is when we detected a leak in the system. We cannot leave gas in the system if there is a leak. We then had to remove the gas. Once again, we cannot control what price Audi charges for their parts, all we can do is pass that information on and let you decide if you want to go ahead with the repair. Which you did not want to do. I'm unsure why you would expect a small business to work for free through no fault of their own. If you were to go ahead with the repair, the next re-gas would be free of charge. Why are you surprised it took two people an hour to do a basic service? That is more than enough time.
