I paid $365 for a full logbook service at Road Runners Field Service because they had a good reputation on Google. I paid for a logbook service but instead the “mechanic” changes my oil and air filter and says its done. Didn’t receive a report of what he's done to the car or how it runs, terrible communication. Not even half the log book servicing tasks were completed. After I picked the car up my oil light was flashing so i went back the next day and asked him to fix it then, he pulls out a youtube tutorial video. Overall, terrible experience with Road Runners they have no idea what they’re doing, it's basically a chop shop that changes oil and air filters. You are better off sticking with a big-name mechanic and paying a little extra. No professionalism here at all. ... view more

Thanks for taking the time to post a review. We do our best to meet our customers expectations. The online quote you obtained for your service was through a third party (auto Guru) who set the price and list items to check, replacement of all items would be a major service, which this was not. Upon inspection, your vehicle needed an air filter, not typical or quoted in your third party quote. Other items listed on inspection did not require replacement at this time. You were contacted and given the option of us performing the needed replacement (a more expensive) item, in lieu of the unnecessary (lower cost) items rather than do the third party quoted work and you needing to replace the air filter at an extra cost. Our regular customers appreciate our honesty in not charging for unnecessary work, and you seemed too as you chose for the necessary work be done for the original price. Unfortunately the oil light reset was missed and you had to return. With over 300 combinations, it is not uncommon to use a diagnostic tool, (as was used in your case) and other references to reset the vehicle's computer.
